I asked myself and the universe what is TIME. And how can I live in the present. Just in the PRESENT.
Osho answer me: “The present is not a part of time. Have you ever thought about it? How long is the present? The past has duration, the future has duration. What is the duration of the present? How long does it last? Between the past and the future can you measure the present? It is immeasurable; it is almost not. It is not time at all: it is the penetration of eternity into time.”
Living in the present is living without judgments, without categories, without putting labels on peoples and their actions. Living in the present is speaking without adjectives.
I heard a lot this expression: living every day like your last day. I saw a lots of movies about seek people, going to die. But I needed almost half life to understand what it is about. There are no future plans, no thinking and no worries about tomorrow. They are stuck in the present. The reason is not important. One way or another, sometime in everybody’s life existence gives us the chance to taste this blissful feeling of the present. Do not wait a disease! Do not wait to experience the hardest dark to understand the light.
Life is a game. A beautiful game. Love is a game too. The first game of life.
Love has no goal, no purpose, no special meaning. It is a celebration. The “special” people cannot play it. The serious or philosophical people cannot play it. You must be simple. Sincere. Without any ambitions. The mind is against love, against happiness.
Osho say: Seriousness is ambition and it is a disease. You may have turned your attention from this world, but your ambitious mind is now thinking about the other. Seriousness is not religious. A serious man will automatically become a philosophic man; he will start thinking. Seriousness is of the head. That’s why a serious person, a thinker, becomes a long face. He cannot even laugh, he cannot smile, he cannot play, because he is always thinking.
A sincere person is totally different. Sincerity is of the heart. He is true, but not serious. He is seeking, but not as a goal. He is seeking it just like a child seeks things: if he finds, it is OK: if he doesn’t find, it is OK also. A child is running after a dog, and just in the middle he finds a butterfly; he changes. He starts running after the butterfly; and then, by the side, there comes a flower, and he has forgotten the butterfly and the flower takes his total attention. Whenever he takes anything into mind he is totally with it, that is sincerity.”
Do not fight against these feelings. Let your heart run after a dog, after a butterfly, after a flower. Do not feel guilty about it. Be total. Do not stop because “it is an ongoing process, infinite, from one infinity to another infinity.”
In ultimul timp am primit intrebari de genul : « De ce nu pot sa simt cutare sau cutare senzatie sau sa vizualizez cutare sau cutare lucru in timpul meditatie X sau Y ? »
Meditatia nu presupune nici o actiune, doar relaxare.
Concentrarea presune o singura actiune intensa, o incordare a mintii pe o anumita, singura directie. (flacara unei lumanari, imaginarea unui foc launtric, ridicarea lui kundalini etc.)
Priveste-ti mintea. Nu lupta cu ea. Si nu incerca sa o controlezi. Stai doar acolo – un martor mut, fara alegeri. Orice ti-ar trebce prin minte nu-i da atentie.
Are loc o oprire brusca.
“Meditation is a simple process of watching your own mind. Not fighting with the mind. Not trying to control it either. Just remaining there, a choiceless witness. Whatsoever passes you simply take note of it. With no prejudice for or against. You don’t call it names. That this should not come to my mind. That this is an ugly thought and this is a very beautiful and virtuous thought. You should not judge, you should remain non-judgmental because the moment you judge, you lose meditation, you become identified, either you become a friend or you become a foe. You create relationships.
Meditation means remaining unrelated with your thought process. Utterly unrelated, cool, calm, watching whatsoever is passing. And then a miracle happens : Slowly-slowly one becomes aware that less and less thoughts are passing. The more alert you are, the less thoughts pass, the less alert you are, the more thoughts pass. It is as if traffic depends on your awareness. When you are perfectly aware, even for a single moment, all thinking stops. Immediately, there is a sudden stop and the road is empty, there is no traffic. That moment is meditation.
Slowly-slowly those moments come more and more. Those empty spaces come again and again. And stay longer. “
